Sproove Privacy Notice
This notice explains how ReturnOS Inc. ("we", "us") processes information when you use Sproove.
1. Information we process
- Account data: email address, username, display name and authentication information.
- Agent preferences: preferred language, currency, protection profile, mandate mode and related settings.
- Communication data: message and attachment content may be processed transiently to mediate meaning, safety, rights, language and recipient-specific delivery.
- Media and documents: files you choose to send, plus safety results and, for eligible Business use, document analysis or translation results.
- Purchase data: product and entitlement information needed to validate App Store purchases and manage plan access. Apple handles payment-card information.
- Technical data: service, error, routing and usage metrics needed to operate, secure and improve Sproove. Our AI usage metrics are designed not to store message text.
2. How we use information
We use information to authenticate users, deliver recipient-specific agent-mediated communication, apply safety and rights checks, provide requested document/call features, manage entitlements and purchases, prevent abuse, provide support and maintain the service.
3. Message retention
Sproove's current native architecture is designed around device-local chat history. A recipient-specific delivery is persisted locally first. After local persistence is acknowledged, transport copies and associated media are deleted once the required recipients have acknowledged. If a recipient remains offline, a hard server-retention fallback removes message/media transport data before 24 hours (currently a 23h30 cutoff with scheduled cleanup).
This is not end-to-end encryption. Plaintext can be processed transiently inside the trusted mediation boundary so personal agents, safety systems and rights checks can do their work.
4. Service providers
We use infrastructure and service providers to operate Sproove, including Cloudflare, Supabase, OpenAI and Apple. They process information as needed to provide their contracted services and under their applicable terms and privacy commitments.
5. Your controls
You can change agent preferences, export locally stored chat history and delete your account from the app. Account deletion removes your Sproove account, profile, entitlements and remaining server-side account data, subject to information we must retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention or transaction-record obligations.
6. Security
Sproove uses HTTPS/TLS in transit, authenticated access and database access controls. Sproove is not currently marketed as end-to-end encrypted. No security system can eliminate all risk.
7. Children and age-related protection
Sproove may use age/profile-appropriate protection settings where supported. Availability and eligibility can vary by market and product release. We do not claim that a protection profile replaces parental supervision or applicable legal requirements.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain information about certain personal data. Contact us through the support page to make a privacy request.
